Hello to all the new people who've added me from the friending meme. Going through that, yesterday, replying to peoples post and adding them was very nerve-wracking. It caused quite a bit of anxiety and I was half expecting to come online and find people ignoring me, or worse yet, telling me where to get off. There was part of me that felt like a five-year-old "Hi, I'm Naomi, I like the same TV shows as you, do you want to be my friend?"

And now that people have said yes, I'm hoping I can be as interesting as I made myself sound in my introduction!

Speaking of five-year-olds, Jack and I have had a lot of fun today, even if I am supposed to be working from home. He had a lie-in this morning which let me get some work done first thing, at least. Although, I'm relatively sure my manager isn't expecting a huge amount of work done over Christmas. Then this morning we listened to music and did some reading, practiced handwriting and numbers. This afternoon was a lot more high energy and involved a game of Ghostbusters vs Dinosaurs, with Chewie as the dinosaur - at least until he hid under the table and Jack hit his head trying to get him out. I'm not entirely sure what the rules of the game were but

We're now watching The Secret Life Of Pets before bed, but I'm not entirely sure he's going to stay away til the end. He's dropping off next to me, bless him so I've come online to see what's going on on DW.

I've seen a few people posting 20/25 random facts about themselves and thought it makes a good post, so lets see what I can come up with

My favourite subject in school was English Language, I continued that through to A-Levels and I have a BA in English Language & Creative Writing.
My favourite drink is a cappuccino, or if we're talking alcoholic, a beer.

My favourite food is chocolate buttons - terrible, I know!
The last thing I bought was some Star Wars socks, just a little stocking filler for Jack
My favourite book changes all the time, I've read so many amazing ones its hard to choose. Right now it's Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, but ask me tomorrow and it may be different

I was 20 when Matt & I got married, and we'd always planned on having a big family. It still breaks my heart that he never got to meet his son.

I have a younger brothers called Samuel, Paul, Zachary and Nathan. At this point, they gave up trying to have another girl, but you can see why I wanted a big family

The last time I cried was on Friday when Jack got an award at the end of term assembly at school

I love cooking pasta dishes - but trying to get Jack to eat anything other than tuna sandwiches right now is... shall we say challenging?
